OC Bilingual Account Executive

You’re a motivated self-starter, polished creative writer, savvy media maven who enjoys working in a fast-paced creative environment. The term 'traditional’ PR has no meaning for you, as you’ve always lived within a social media/digital world to connect people and brands. You have a passion for uncovering the latest in art, music, fashion, and food – and you love being part of the community.

 

What We Want You To Do

  • Work with the Account Supervisor/Director on small and large-scale consumer events; specifically, be the go-to person for all on-site logistics (event staffing, media and influencer engagement on-site, run of show)

  • Work with the Account Supervisor/Director to concept, source and execute grassroots  and consumer activations

  • Manage media relations’ activities for traditional and digital media; including media list development, sourcing new media outlets and pitching

  • Work cohesively within social media platforms to deliver on-brand messages

  • Lead the sourcing of influencers for key client initiatives and effectively negotiate the program details

  • Effectively write (creative) press releases to capture the interest in key media for pick-up

  • Ensure that project deadlines and budgets are met, communicating any issues and seeking guidance to address for quick resolution

 

What We Want You To Have For Success

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and easily able to switch gears and adapt to an ever-changing workload

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

  • Flexible and able to solve problems

  • Skilled in Cision, CubeYou and HootSuite

  • 3+ years experience in a PR or activation agency

  • Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations)
